Shocking: How a Seven months pregnant woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband in Lagos.(Photos)

41-year-old Mrs. Ngozi Mba has allegedly been beaten to death by her husband, 45-year-old Ernest Anayo Mba at their home in the Aradagun area of Badagry, Lagos.

that a family source who spoke to them said Mrs Mba died last Tuesday, October 10th, from complications from injuries she sustained from a recent beating from her husband. The deceased and her husband met in 2009 and without any courtship, got married in 2010. For as long as they were married, Mrs Mba never enjoyed her marriage as she suffered series of beating from her husband. His quest to have a boy made her go into the labor room five times. She had four girls and a boy

One of the girls died two years ago from negligence as he reportedly refused to pay her medical bills because she was a girl that he never wanted.
The family source said Mr. Mba treated his deceased wife with so much disdain that he referred to her in Igbo language as Idiot, Dead body etc.
During her last delivery, she suffered so many complications that the doctors advised her not to get pregnant again as it could lead to her death.
Her husband who was in dire need of another boy, got her pregnant again and ordered her not to inform any member of her family. From the time she confirmed she was pregnant till her death date, she never informed any member of her family.
After a severe beating in early October, Mrs. Mba complained of severe chest pain and was taken to the hospital where she died.
Her husband upon her death did not even inform her family members of their death. Mr. Mba reportedly resumed work at his piggery farm the next day after his wife died.
Mba and one of his brothers took the body of the deceased to his hometown in Anambra state without the consent of their family.
 He has been arrested and is currently in detention at the State Criminal Investigations Department, Panti, Lagos state.
